When we think of water and the things that can be done with it, the imagination runs wild. Sure we can drop it from any height and make noise, but a water feature is a different way of handling water. While it may look like a waterfall, we see the difference as:

Waterfall: water is falling in a natural environment, rocks and plantings are used to make the setting as natural as possible.

Water Feature: water is splashing, squirting, shooting, gurgling, babbling, fogging and falling, yet the surroundings may or may not be natural depending on personal tastes.
